The dramatic scale up has happened ! – Our commercial wormery has now relocated to the MY Group’s Maltings Organic Treatment at South Milford. The Wormganix retail brand is still thriving and distributed through Crocus,co,uk and we are now busy re-inventing the very concept of a commercial wormery with our joint venture with the MY Group, the most forward thinking waste management company in the UK.
We believe we are the first commercial wormery in the world to be sited at a waste management company ( feel free to tell us if you think that is incorrect ) and certainly the first wormery to only use true waste streams as the inputs. All the substrates and food stocks we use to rear our worms are from true waste streams that enter the waste management facility
Our castings are Peat and chemical free as they’ve always been, the difference now being the scale, we are busy scaling up dramatically, we are breeding our own worms on site to be ready to supply worm castings ‘on scale ‘ to compost manufacturers in the UK
We are located within the Bio park at the Maltings site, alongside the MY Group’s black soldier fly facility, and alongside our commercial operations we are now involved in research projects in both fields.
